Amy Abdou is an innovative American singer-songwriter. In addition to extensive live performance she has recorded three critically acclaimed releases that received national and international recognition, airplay and distribution. Amy has been an active voice in the promotion of underground arts and independent music. She co-produced the first compilation of female artists from the Hudson Valley and founded Grrr Records; an independent label dedicated to raising the profile of women artists. From 2000 to 2002 Amy was the host of Time Warner’s Sounding Board; a television show about indie music and bands from New York. Amy lives and works in the Netherlands since 2002.
